Change the organization display name

I have created an organization but would like to change the display name of it. I am the admin but cannot do it?

Hello,

That is correct, only Dockstore admins can change the display name once it’s been approved.

Please let use know what you want the display name to be, including the exact casing, and we can update it.

perhaps the other way would be to create a different organization?

If you want… But then you would have to use a different name, in case that is important to you.

It’s not a hassle if you want to us to update the display name. Just let us know.

Can you please change the display name to ENCODE PIPELINES for ENCODE DCC (ENCODEDCC) organization?

Just to make sure I have this right - I’m not sure if you want the word “for” in the display name, or if you’re saying it’s “for” the org. Which exactly do you want the display name to be:

  1. ENCODE PIPELINES
  2. ENCODE PIPELINES for ENCODE DCC
  3. ENCODE PIPELINES for ENCODE DCC (ENCODEDCC)
  4. None of the above :grinning:
